They could, and they did….
You would, if you could…
Well, now you can…
Partner with us to help save the native Irish honeybee. Sponsor a hive, which will host up to 50,000 bees by mid summer.
Ireland has been identified as one of the largest gene pools of the European dark honeybee (Apis Melifera Melifera). The native Irish black honeybee belongs to this family. This is a bee once found all over the European continent, it is now located in a very small number of isolated areas - Ireland being one of them. Partner with us to support our mission of conservation of the native Irish honey bee.
Through this support OpenHive can continue to focus on the conservation of the native Irish honeybee. You can see more about our project throughout the website.
