OpenHive Honey is delighted to present this fantastic gift set for the honey lover in your life. This pack includes five different honeys from our Dublin and Wicklow apiaries. Each apiary has a distinct flavour profile based on the flora that that our native bees have been foraging on. We supply information on each of the honeys and the accompanying tasting notes.

  We have analysed the honey from several apiaries to inform this tasting guide. We carefully examine the honey under a microscope to determine the various pollens it contains. This examination informs us as to what the bees are foraging on as the honey will contain trace amounts of pollen from the flowers that the bees have visited to collect their nectar. In the guide we also include a recommended food pairing guide.

Our honey is raw, straight from the hive, lightly filtered and poured in our screen printed 227g and 45g glass jars. All of our packaging is sustainably sourced and can be fully recycled.

Raw honey will crystallise naturally over time. This can be reversed by gently heating the honey. Once lightly heated the honey will return to its runny form.
